Nope, not I. I'm not even going to opening night. Not that I don't want to, of course! It's just finals and stuff... and lack of money. I /am/ however, going thursday night to see RotK by itself. I suppose I could rent TTT and watch my extended edition FotR, but do I want to sit and watch that much? Not really. I think I would go insane. It's impossible for me to sit still that long, even with breaks.
I am, however, all a drool with anticipation. ^_^ *dance dance* I can't wait... only three more days! *bounce*

I own both Fotr and Ttt EE dvds so i'll just watch them before going to the theatre. Too bad Rotk is displayed in french. Still, i won't miss it :P

I have my ticket. FoTR starts at 1 PM. We will be at the theater by 11 AM.
AMC reserved half the tickets for the Trilogy for their moviewatcher club members. That's the only reason I got mine.

I'm going to the Return of the King premiere tonight :-) No marathon, though. I've seen the other movies almost 20 times, most of them in the theatres.

tes so now we shall marathon FotR, then Ttt, then we shall go out at 9pm to get mediocre seats for the 12:02am showing of RotK, thank goodness school is out.

i've seen the first 2 once each and read the book about 10 times plus i live in Hickville Canada so no marathon for about 100000 miles around i will just go see RotK by itself and be happy it even got to my town

I'll run my own marathon, nice and free. with a comfy couch and blanket, my own inexpensive food, and nobody screwing up my viewing.
huzzah for my nerdy roomate and his obsession with LOTR 1 and 2....he got the extended versions of both.....

I know what you mean Shaich. I'm even more in the boonies then you. Just for a sense of distance the nearest traffic light is 3 hours away. I'll probably see RotK in the next couple of months when I can find an excuse to go somewhere that actually has a theater.
