Install SATA lose CD Drive

Hello All,

Hoping for some insight with this. I have to IDE HD, CD drive and I install a SATA drive, and now my CD drive no longer shows up.

I have tried removing the SATA and see if the CD drive returns, but no go.

I'm running Windows XP home edition.

Start with the easy stuff: Check your connections.

Check your cable, too. I had an extension cable that had one line that was bad.

After that, check jumpers, etc.

Beyond that, I can't help.
